An aesthetician is an important part of a professional beauty salon team. Aesthetician duties include helping clients feel comfortable and at ease while providing skilled skin care services to enhance their client's natural beauty and wellbeing. An aesthetician is expected to have knowledge of skin types and the latest trends and treatments to provide custom solutions for each client depending on their specific needs. Aesthetician roles require a comprehensive understanding of skin science, customer service, and safety. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills to build client relationships and consistently deliver the highest quality of skin care and beauty treatments.


Aesthetician Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Performing various skincare treatments, including facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and exfoliation.
  • Conducting thorough skin analyses and consultations to determine the most suitable treatments for individual clients' needs.
  • Administering laser hair removal, IPL treatments, and other advanced aesthetic procedures.
  • Advising clients on skincare regimens and recommending products to enhance and maintain results.
  • Ensuring a high level of hygiene and sterilization for all equipment and treatment areas.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating them with treatment details and progress.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in the field of aesthetics.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Assisting in retail sales and actively promoting our skincare products.
  • Collaborating with other team members and professionals to deliver comprehensive and integrated beauty solutions.


Aesthetician Qualifications & Skills:


  • Certification from an accredited aesthetician program
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Sales experience
  • Valid state license as an Aesthetician.
  • Proven experience in providing a wide range of aesthetic treatments.
  • In-depth knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and their benefits.
  • Ability to perform skin analyses and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Proficient in using various aesthetic equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt treatments to individual skin conditions and concerns.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality.
