My transformation started 8 years ago. Growing up, I was always athletic and very active in sports. At the age of 19, I entered a very stressful time in my life. I began eating to cope with my feelings, and I continued eating. My weight climbed to nearly 240 pounds. By this time I was sick often, and was suffering from lack of energy, low self-esteem and depression. My eating habits were so out of control that my doctor recommended surgery to remove my gallbladder.

I decided it was time for a change. After two years of intense cardio and extreme dieting, I lost 115 pounds. I wanted to be skinny; however, I lacked the knowledge I needed to safely reach my goals. I was damaging my body and losing muscle because I was malnourished! I was no longer getting my period because my hormones were so out of balance. I was extremely weak, and my hair was falling out.

After learning to eat right and building muscle, I began reaching my goals. My hormones are back on track, I feel amazing, and I have energy again!

I have learned so much from my journey, and now I love to help others who are going through what I did or who have similar struggles of their own.
